Schools

STARLIGHT Schools will take place in three of the six countries of the partnership

  • Bulgaria: the school will be focused on entrepreneurship, digital marketing, experiential purchase and customer care, etc. This experience will provide a working guidance to be used in the future and tested in the following schools, supporting participants in building their own career;
  • Italy: this school will be devoted to territorial marketing, benefiting from economic operators’ direct participation. This experience will lead to the development of a joint tourist experiential package (the Experience Box) using the guidance developed in the previous summer school;
  • Spain: this school will be about biodiversity preservation and environment protection from light pollution, benefiting from the participation of local guides. This experience will lead to the co-creation of a joint tourist experiential package using the guidance developed in the previous school.

Schools represent the final step of the STARLIGHT methodology. Their aim is to INSPIRE participants, target groups, stakeholders, and larger public, passing the heritage of what STARLIGHT has initiated.

Bulgaria

  • Date: 25th -29th of September 2023 
  • Duration: 5 days learning experience + 2 days travel
  • Destination: Razlog/Bulgaria a mountain resort about 140 km away from Sofia, near to the border with Greece and North Macedonia
  • Topic: Entrepreneurship, digital marketing and customer care

Italy

  • Date: 15th -19th of April 2024
  • Destination: The event will take place in Pragelato and its surroundings: they include the alpine valleys of the Pinerolese basin and the Val Susa which gravitate towards the plain southwest of Turin.
  • Topic: Territorial marketing

Spain

  • Date: 9th -13th of September 2024
  • Destination: The event will take place in the Picos de Europa National Park, a perfect example of an Atlantic ecosystem spread across the provinces of Asturias, Cantabria and León. It is Spain’s only inhabited nature reserve, offering travellers a unique experience.
  • Topic: Nature and biodiversity. Light pollution reduction, environment protection and biodiversity preservation
